On the first evening of Make/shift, we’re inviting our speakers, partners, and supporters together to connect over the the festival’s themes - and a slice of pizza. The program you’ve helped us bring to life is full of brilliant minds and lovely humans, and we didn’t want to miss this opportunity to gather and host you as the festival kicks off.

The name ‘A Convivial Table’ comes from a renegade Austrian priest who would have been 100 years old on this night, and whose thinking is part of the chain of ideas that wound up inspiring Make/shift Festival… but it’s a long story. We’ll tell you when you get there.
