Cut. Paste. Dream. Repeat.

  • Make/shift HQ, Piazza Fremantle 36 South Terrace Fremantle, Western Australia, 6160 Australia (map)

We're surrounded by pictures of the future, but most of them are trying to sell us something. This hands-on collage workshop offers a chance to reclaim our collective imagination about what better futures could look like, and how we might fill our days inside them.

Cutting, pasting, layering, and creating alongside others, you'll build visual snapshots of the futures you actually want to live, work, and play in: messy, hopeful, surprising, and uniquely your own. Rather than focusing on doom, quick fixes, or distant utopias, we’ll explore what a good life might look like if we prioritised connection, contribution, and care. No artistic experience required - just a willingness to play and see where your imagination takes you.

To build different futures, we have to be able to picture them. A pair of scissors and a table full of strangers isn't a bad place to start.

This session is hosted by our partners at cutting_the_edge.
