Maybe it’ll fix everything, or maybe it’ll take our jobs and kill us all: we’re bored of the prediction game. Let’s have a different conversation about AI, where nothing is treated as inevitable. How much of this machine do we want, and what for? Who benefits, and who bears the costs?

This session brings together people thinking deeply about tech, creativity, ethics, and power to bypass the hype and talk about how we get into right relationship with our technologies. Together we'll explore what AI is genuinely good for, where it might make life worse, and what it looks like to engage with it critically as well as creatively. Expect lively discussion, genuine disagreement, and plenty of questions to ask yourself when you next open up that tab.

Technology isn't destiny. The future depends on the choices we make about the tools we build, the problems we ask them to solve, and the parts of being human that we're just not willing to hand over.
