Every week brings another crisis, another institution under strain, another reminder that the future we were promised is nothing like how things are turning out. It can feel like everything's unravelling at once - and it’s lonely when you feel like you’re the only one thinking about this stuff, while the world keeps turning and the dishes keep piling up.

Making sense in a time of unravelling breaks the spell.

The format is called a ‘Warm Data Lab’, but really, it's just a thoughtful way of making a different kind of encounter possible. One big, unruly question is offered. A series of small, prompted conversations begin. Perspectives are picked up and played with. Stories, hopes, and griefs start to move. And if we’re lucky, something surprising happens: a whole new future starts to feel possible in the hands and hearts of the people in front of you. A window gets cracked open, and a different song drifts in.
