Screening: Water is Love

  • Make/shift HQ, Piazza Fremantle 36 South Terrace Fremantle, Western Australia, 6160 Australia (map)

For something so essential to life, we don't spend much time thinking about water. It appears from the tap, disappears down the drain, and mostly gets our attention when there's too much of it - or not nearly enough.

Grab some popcorn, pull up a bean bag, and join us for a screening of Water is Love, a documentary exploring the surprising role water plays in shaping our climate, landscapes, and communities. Through stories from around the world, the film reveals how local people are restoring water cycles, cooling entire regions, and showing that some of our biggest environmental challenges are best tackled through practical, community-led responses.

Water isn't just a resource or a weather phenomenon - it's a key partner in helping us make places liveable. What might change if we started treating it that way?

Join us before this session for Comfort in a Heating Climate, a workshop about keeping our communities cool as the planet heats up.

This session is hosted by our partners at the WA Water Alliance.
