Screening: The World's Longest City

  • Patio Bar 3-13 Essex Street Fremantle, Western Australia, 6160 Australia (map)

Perth is famous for a lot of things. Being one of the longest cities in the world is... maybe not the flex we'd choose.

Join us for a screening of Harry Cunningham's documentary, The World's Longest City, exploring how decades of urban sprawl have shaped the way we live, travel, connect, and care for the places around us. Harry was the recipient of the 2025 Planning Champion Award by the Planning Institute of Australia for creating the documentary. After the film, we'll come together to unpack what we've seen, what it means for WA's future, and how we might retrofit and build for the next generation.

The places we build end up building us. What kind of city do we want to become?

Join us before this session for a future fishbowl discussion exploring how Walyalup Freo reached its density goal by 2050.
